Dynafit's Low Tech Race 115 continue unchanged for 2025 having been updated last season with improvements to the toe and heel units which are now considerably stiffer for better downhill performance.
Dynafit produce two versions of the Low Tech Race 115, with either automatic or manual locking toe units. With the automatic version, the toe piece lever lifts into uphill mode automatically when the boot steps into the binding. In the manual version this has to be done by hand before starting skinning up. The toeplate of the Low Tech Race has an optimized hole pattern to reduce the possibility of binding pull out and increase binding stiffness for even better control.
The ISMF (International Ski Mountaineering Federation) regulations specify that toe locking must be manually operated. If you're racing then you'll need the manual version.
Dynafit have strengthened the heel unit with a stiff external metal frame providing reliable performance whatever the snow conditions. Dynafit have used separate pins for the heel units which have the advantage of being longer lasting than "U" springs used in most race bindings. Switching between walk and ski mode is fast and easy - just lift up the heel flap which covers the heel pins in walk mode.
Dynafit's Low Tech Race bindings have been leading the pack for many years and these bindings take racing performance to the next level.
